FAQ
Yes, you should attend the inspection. You are welcome to meet me onsite at the inspection time, inspections can take anywhere from 2 to 4 hours. I recommend coming towards the end of the inspection. At this time we can go over the findings while we walk through the home and I can answer any questions you have.
A home inspection is a visual non-invasive inspection of the various components of the home. You should not expect you inspector to find everything wrong with the home or predict future conditions of what could go wrong. It is possible to find issues after you move into the home that were not discovered during the inspection.
Every home has issues even newly built homes. We will discuss the findings and go over recommendations to resolve them. It doesn’t mean you should or shouldn’t buy the home, it gives you the information you need to request items to be repaired and budget for the future repairs.
You will receive a full color html style report that includes recommendations on the issues we found, links to helpful articles and DIY repairs on the items found in your home, along with videos and illustrations. The report can be share with your custom link as well as save as a pdf and printed.
